People are multiplex by their nature of being human (ordinary and extraordinary). Chris Freudenberg has participated in communities of activity of one sort & another. He has used the creative art process to facilitate personal well-being. Completing a BA in Social Anthropology in the School of African & Asian studies at the University of Sussex, social anthropology fieldwork before postgraduate work (Social Anthropology MA Sussex 1970, thesis published online), he turned to teaching, making art (pottery & painting), completed a Diploma in Art Therapy (Shefffield 1994, allowing his Health Professions Council State Registration to lapse. His research on process, image & imagination & his making of art continued, some shown in Berlin & Paris as well as at past Craft Potters Associates' & London Potters' shows.
